I have Oxford grips and for about a year up to now were working fine, but for the last couple of days started acting up. The control unit went off and back on every 5 - 10 mins, and today it never turned back on again. The interesting part is the power is there as the power light is on, but the heat levels don't lit up and no heat is coming.
The battery power shows 13+V. Could it be the relay is out? Or maybe the main unit? Not sure what it is.

The controller may be a Pulse Width Modulator with an SCR and the PWM or SCR may have failed. Make sure the ground for the controller and grips still has integrity. If your ground fails for the controller or grips it would create the same problem.

Thanks. Sorted it out. I raised the tank and checked the connections. The power wire that comes out of the fuse box was half cut. Probably got squeezed by the tank...
