Pricing on Used bikes in Canada

So in my long search to replace my bike, I am having a ton of trouble finding a new to me FZ6, here in SK anyways.

But there a couple of nice candidates but i think the pricing is a little out of wack, over 5800 for a 06' stock with low kilometres.

Does anyone know of a reliable website or place that I can find used pricing, at this point i am thinking about going to Alberta.

A little on the side, but anyway: In September 2009 i bought my 2004 FZ6 with 20000 kms on the meter, and I paid the equivalent to just over 9000 USD for my bike. Norway is an expensive place to live. Whenever I see posts mentioning how much (or little!) forum members in the USA or Canada had to pay for their bikes I silently cry ...

wow. i paid about USD 7000 for my 2007 fz6 with 23,000++km (this is considered low here) on the meter earlier this year.

Apparently they do. :thumbup: They are both working on my bike (including working pod lights), and the seller said he had done no modifications to the bike.

I have sent a question regarding this to my closest Yamaha dealership - I'll post their reply here (if I get any, that is).

Check Vancouvers craigslist! Theres a bunch on there. I would gladly ride one out to Sask for a small fee, once the flooding and tornados stop. LOL

I'd say patience and kijiji is your friend.
I was waiting for mine for quite some time.
Had to drive to Sudbury with my friend to pick it up (~400 clicks).
It had all upgrdades I wanted - matching rear tire hugger, belly pan and solo seat, heated grips, puig screen,, fz1 bars, etc.
Seller first posted it for 7200, than reduced to 6400 1 week later and when I saw the ad it was posted for 5500 with - 2007 with 5300 km on the clock.
I found previous ads in bing cache - that's how I knew he is flexible on price For season start pricing - I think I got a good deal.

How difficult was it to bring your bike across the border, i have heard horror stories on how difficult it is.

I found a nice black FZ6 in south dakota, i can make it a family trip and go down and get it.

to bad the dollar is going the wrong way again :-(

Its easy to do. Have done it a few times.
