Police vrs: ems/firefighters

When people see us (ff/pm) they are usually happy to see us. When people see the cops they usually arent happy haha. I could never be a LEO. I give cops a lot of credit. Everyone hates police until you need them, and then they are expected to help you? I think it gets to a lot of officers and it leads to incidents like this. It takes the right person to be a good. Anyways good luck with medic school. I finished mine not too long ago in the chicago area. Its very rewarding. I had a combat medic in my class and although a lot of the hands on skills (IV, airway techniques, bandaging/splinting/wound care, etc...), he said there was still a lot to learn on the medical side and diagnostics. Congrats to you

Yeah, I'm good with all that stuff, but as a combat medic we only had like 5-6 mess to use in the field. Atropine, 2 Pam chloride, morphine, diazepam, and narcam. I have a lot to learn lol.

Stuff like this makes my blood boil. About the only thing that calms me down is knowing that people like this are the exception and not the norm. I've encountered some tough guy cops here and there but nothing like some of the videos you see on YT. Most of the time though, they conduct their job professionally and are nice.

Yeah most police I've met are pretty cool. Even when I'm going 92 in a 55...:spank:
