Pics of Mt. Rainier Ride on 6/1

Well, there ended up being 6 of us out for what turned out to be a pretty fast paced ride. It was my first planned group ride, but it was so much fun. There was of course me ( '07 fz6), Chad (gixxer 600), Joe (sv650), Khan (Ducati 1098), and Twhite6868 (1990 Fazer 600). it was my first time seeing a 1990 Fazer and a Ducati. I had a great time and everyone was extremely cool. cant wait to do it again. Here are some pics :rockon:

Man I miss the north west. Always enjoyed driving by Mt. Shasta, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Rainier. Looks good man :thumbup:

Actually, it was nice and warm the whole way up. It was an 80 degree day.

I went up there on Saturday because I still have yet to go on any distance trips..

That 4mile ish section of curvy roads by Alder lake was fun until I got stuck behind a trailer hauling a boat, passed him then was behind an RV! The road from the park entrance up to paradise sucked in my noob opinion, I was scared to push it because there were so many cracks, roots, and potholes in the road. The way back down the mountain was pretty smooth though..

I did almost loose it up near the top though, coming around a corner there were some guys standing in the road taking pics so I slowed and moved over a little, but then a guy stepped back into my path and I had to brake, there was alot of stand and the front wheel started to slide out, I regained it but my then my front wheel hit a rut and almost lost it again.. All at going about 10mph haha! I wish I could of got it on video haha!
