My FZ6 currently runs really well and its a great bike. It never smells of anything.
However, my son's friend has just bought an used Honda 2-stroke, it is a 125cc with a sporty look and sound but I do not know the precise model.
Anyway, sometimes I come home and find a strong smell of pertrol/ gas in my house, because this old bike has been has been been parked in my garage overnight. There is an air/ventiltaion brick in the divding wall between my house and my garage.
All my bikes have been 4-strokes so I wonder if 2-strokes are inherently very smelly? I guess not and that the smell is probably caused by a faulty fuel line, faulty fuel breather tube or a loose pipe connection ? Does this seem reasonable to you experienced folks ? Any steer would be much appreciated.
