Since I'm sort of looking for a decently priced after-market shock for the FZ6, I decided to email Penske. (I found out I live less than 30 miles from the Penske shock headquarters.)
Anyways, here's what they said:
I don't specifically see a model for the FZ6 (do see an FZ1 model though), and the pricing seems to be good. I replied asking if there was an FZ6 model available, but didn't get a response yet.
Here's a single adjustable version for the SV650 for only $475:
Penske 8975S shock SV650 - $474.95
Some more listings:
Penske shocks at hardracing
Anyone try the Penske 8975 yet?

Normally I would say the 8983 shock is our standard do it all shock that performs well, has good adjustment but we recently introduced the 8975 which is compression adjustable, rebound, spring preload and has just been getting great reviews from our test riders. So my recommendation...the 8975 priced at $695 is a great option.
