This is a video teaser from "Lift". Timothy Green (One of the Acrotwinz), is my niece's fiance. I flew with him last year at the Glider Port in La Jolla. I got my 30 day temporary license that day and learned to kite that afternoon. Wanted to run off that cliff on my own. Timmy is the nicest, quietest,sweetest person you want to meet until he's under that wing! Haha. We pulled some G's that day I won't forget.
If I wasn't on the bike that's what I'd be doing. Actually if I had the $$$ I'd be doing that also...

The wind is very powerful. Tim has a certain gift with it. My niece was telling me they were on some cliffs somewhere I think in Europe. Other pilots saw her all geared up and asked how high she was going to go with Tim and she told them like 7,000 feet and they told her they wouldn't near 4,000 ft. She new if Tim said he would make it to 7,000 that he would. He has an uncanny way with those drafts. She said they made it and she was not dressed warm enough for it.
When Tim and Anthony were kids, (identical twins) and came home from school, they would sneak their dad's shoot out of the house and fly off some hills here in SoCal. :rof: Eventually they were flying before pop ever knew it. :rof: By the way my niece is also an identical twin. The other niece is already married so no identical twin bros will marry the identical nieces.
The nieces would pull hilarious pranks on people all the time. My poor mom would baby sit them sometimes and they would always get her spinning :rof:

When I was practicing kiting, I was doing these wing collapses they call a cobra. I was doing one and thought the wing was dead on the ground and a gust quickly filled it. It yanked me like a paper doll, horizontally in the air and then into the dirt. People watching couldn't help but laugh and go, Oh no! at the same time. My family thought I was done after that but it's so much fun I couldn't stop till I was satisfied with my kiting level. There were people from all over the world flying there. Luckily the naked people on Blacks beach below are barely(haha) visible! :Flash:

That really looks like a blast. I'd say that parachuting out of a plane on wii sports resort is about the closest I'll come to doing that though.
