Just bought the swingarm from an S2 that was professionally bead-blasted and primed to a flat gray. Have found the proper paint code to have it re-painted Yamaha Silver to match the 04-06 models [ColorRite Yamaha 0895 Silver #8 (S8) Frame Color].

My question is, how much paint do I need in order to finish this project? A 1/2 pint, pint or quart?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the type of paint gun but almost certainly a 1/2 pint should do. With a good HLVP gun less then a quart painted the back end of my brothers car(trunk, 1 door, Spoiler, back bumper, both quarters) after it was rearended.

Thanks! Was leaning that way, but as I won't be the one painting I think in order to have a 'fudge factor' I will buy the pint can.
