Hello my fellow Fizzers,
I have just purchased the Powerbronze lower fairings, in black. (yes, I know some of the pics are of an S2 and I have the S1, but the pics are for reference only)

Anyway, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. Now, I'm still too new to S.A. to know anyone, and I could paint them myself, with a colour-matched spraypack, but I'm looking for a professional finish.

If there are any panel-beaters/spraypainters in or around Adelaide, that'd like a quick(ish) cash job, helping me spray these fairings in the Yamaha blue, or if you know of someone that could, please speak up!

At the moment they are black, and I'm lead to believe they're in good nick (if AaE doesn't kill them on the way here!) so hopefully a quick rub down (I can do that) and spray should be fine.

Hopefully....

So, open to any offers!

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Rick

Go see Jamie at Topcoat Motorcycle refinishing.....great painter who does all my big jobs, and he charges the right price...

I went and saw Pullmans in Mt Barker.

$400 he says. I said, 'can't you get an apprentice to spray it' and he said that that was the cost of the paint. (?!?)

I told him I could do it - but I had to sell my gun and compressor when I left Rocky....

So I went to Pro Paint n Panel on South Rd.

$100... (get it back Monday!)

Done in a nice shade of Deep Purple Blue Metallic L (dunno what the 'L' is for!) also known in Yamaha circles as DPBML.

Now even WITH my gun and compressor, I probably wouldn't be able to do it much cheaper - so if the finish is good, we have a winner!

(and Wolfman - you could have bloody told me about Jamie 3 weeks ago! LOL!)

Cheers,
Rick

EDIT: BTW Wolfman, I need your name! You know how awkward it is to go up to every bike rider that turns up at the servo and say "Are you the Wolfman?" LOL!

Seriously no need to apologise Jamie, just making a funny! (I was just a bit shocked when Pullmans' said $400!)

As for the 'said a thousand times', I noticed you lead the all-time thread count!

LOL!

Cheers,
Rick
