Ok, so i have been spending a bit of time detailing my bike...basically i took everything off the bike from the rear subframe back, and either cleaned it, replaced it, repaired it, and polished it!...while i was there i noticed my hugger was looking a bit sad...is 4 years old now! So i went and got a couple of cans of the same Black Onyx paint, that the frame, swingarm, top triple clamp, seat unit handles, are painted with...same satin finish.

The result is fantastic, now instead of having a dulling flat black hugger, i now have a hugger that matches the swingarm it sits on!

The whole exercise cost me $17!

NICE!
Been looking at my hugger with the same thoughts ,lol

If you do decide to give it a birthday....let me know, i will put you onto the joint where i got the colour matched paint (Just near Le Cornu's off Anzac Highway)...is good heavy duty stuff! And cheap! Powdercoaters use the paint i used to touch up stuff!

Cool.
I,m fitting my new chain and sprockets this weekend so will have the wheel out touching that up a bit(stone chips)so will have a good close look at the hugger and see how bad it is .

Looks really good! I've thought about repainting mine as well because it's getting discolored. Is your hugger cut down a little as well?
