Paddock stand spools / bobbins

I bought these from ebay and they seem to be great quality, only issue is I have no idea where they're supposed to connect to?

I bough them specifically cause they say in the ad:

Fits 99.9% of Yamahas including:
FZ6 & Fazer - All

These are them, look exactly the same as the ad:

Any ideas?
I've looked and can't see any threaded hole.

The shape of the round silver part almost makes it look like it goes in the rear axle but there's nothing to hold it there??

When I looked into this earlier, I learned there was no place to install them. I have seen rear bobbins that thread through the axle. I think someone here welded mounts onto the swingarm.

I bought the Motovation swing arm sliders with integrated paddock stand spools that use a thought the axle rod. Won't do much good if I need to remove the tire, but I bought them primarily as crash protection, not for the paddock stand feature.
