saw this last weekend at the historic Steiglitz courthouse. old bloke has had it since new and it has done 8,000km. his wife has made him get his L plates.
saw him kick it over, second kick it fired and he left a nice blue haze as he rode home.
These 350s were quick, and I love the colour.

I thought it was a great restoration, but his wife said he bought it new and it has sat in a shed. Now retired he wanted to ride it so she made him get his Ls.
I wonder what it is worth. they were real fast and I think the race version won a few grand prixs. Kenny Roberts?

My dad bought me that exact same bike not running but looked that good for $25 usd in 1987.....I thought it was coolest thing i'de ever seen..a two stroke street bike!!! :BLAA: :rockon:

My oldman brought one new(250 in blue) I was about 5yrs old & can still remember sittin in front of him cruisin around :thumbup:

yeah it was a magic moment when I spotted it. Definitely an RD350 as pointed out by a member. But only 8000km on the clock!!!!!
So sweet when he kicked it over and she buzzed into life.
I believe they were good in original condition for 100mph.

Yeah rumps,my 250 was stock except for a 50k overbore and on a good day I could get 165k,s.My mate had a 250 with 350 barrels and power pipes and could hit 175 k's.
