I agree, it's difficult to wear it out... but constantly slipping a clutch will accelerate it's consumption..... it is after all very closely related to brake pad material. 30 seconds once or twice a ride is one thing..... 30 constant minutes of 'parking lot ballet' is another. Particularly if it's done on a weekly basis.

I'd have to agree with that.

I haven't tried to see how slow I can go, with the FZ6... I'm not convinced the clutch is all that beefy. I rode a Suzuki cruiser through 43K miles and did a lot of clutch slipping/ super slow riding on that one. The clutch was still functional when I sold it. I would not have expected it to make 60K miles without replacement.

I have, there's no option on the UK's roads, and I can go slower with more control (less wobble) on both the bandit 600 and gs 500, both of which feel lighter under the backside, perhaps they have a lower centre of gravity.
