ohio riders

I live in Xenia. I a noob, but I am also a OU alum. I might end up riding down for a few football games this fall. :cheer:

The nice thing about living in Ohio, maybe the only thing,:rolleyes:is you are never more than hour away from great roads.Any where in the Hocking Hills region is good.772 looks like a good road close to you, further to the east 555 is a famous road. Bill

555 eh. It's just OK. The better roads are all south of I-70 and East of I-77. I'm south of Cleveland but try and make it down that way quite often

I try and hit these a lot in that area....

250 in WV from Moundsville to Hundred
WV7 from Hundred to New Martinsville
WV67 out of Wellsburg to WV88 south to 250
WV20 south out of New Martinsville

Plus a lot of other small ones

Also, there are some decent ones in the Coshocton/Millersburg that can be strung together for a quick ride:
60 from 39 South to Zanesville
541 from New Guilford to Kimbolton
83 from Clark to Beverly
93 from Starsburg to Zanesville can be run pretty fast.
258 from I-77 to Freeport is fun too

I usually string a bunch and include WV for a good 400-500 mile day.....

My brotehr used to ride down in Hocking Hills when he lived in Columbus, but he mentioned there teneded to be a lot of traffic. I did a ride with him once from C'bus thru Athens, then down to the river and we did get stuck behind a lot of people. Much less traffic east of I-77.....
