OEM Parts #

One is obviously for a FZ600 and one is for a FZ800.

With the difference in price (the FZ6 is almost half) and the difference that its two compleatly different bikes, I doubt their interchangable.

If your looking for a radiator shroud, you may want to look in the "for sale section: or post a "wanted" in the "Wanted section"

Not sure what the P/N's are but they should be the same part. The first series of numbers indicates the model of the actual bike. The next set is the number of the part followed by color, left vs. right etc.

Here's some reading for you.

Also check out the an image of the part on the Fiche. You can search by P/N.

OEM Parts

With my R6 project and my XV920R project I've gotten pretty good at figuring out what can work from on bike to another, at least within the Yamaha family. You just need to dig a little on the fiche.

The FZ6 part # is for the radiator side accents held on with 2 small screws(standard 2007, flat radiator).

The other part #,(with a bunch of research) is the same, radiator side accents BUT for a 2011 FZ8. This radiator is curved and the side covers don't even look close to being the same...

As posted above, look up the part #'s AND PICTURES AND COMPARE...

The middle part of the part number always dictates the type of part but only means it is that part. For example every conrod has the same middle number it's just the prefix that makes it different. The same as clutch fibers are all the same middle section but they are not the same part. Don't get me started on supersesions.
