My folks live off of highway 97 out there, I'll be taking the bike that way sometime this summer.

I'm in Central WA but I'd be up for a ride into Idaho. Rode 95 north from Ontario to Lewiston a couple years ago. Great ride along Hells Canyon. Lots of good stuff around Spokane too. I know a couple of guys in Spokane who ride, though neither of them have FZs.
