Yamaha state 10000k's & thats what I give it but she does get an oil change in between :thumbup:

Most fussy owners will recommend every 6000 though

I do a synthetic oil and filter change every 5000kms (at a cost of ~$95)

Since I'm doing so many kms going to work, the changes are every 2.5 to 3mths

yeah it has been a while!
I was just about to sell the yamaha, and become an MV only garage.... then some lady decided to reverse over my MV.... which is just awesome.
so I have to rely on my trusty jap 600. and its been very trust worthy. infact. I cant fault the bike in anyway.

hmmm. I might have to learn how start servicing myself.
