Anyone try these? I saw some people had used the yellow and they looked really nice. I wanted to get more light out so I went with the Arctic whites for both sides. Not to bad, less than 10$ per bulb. Came in packs of two so I hope I like them :)

Anyway, just curious to get someone else's opinion.

Well, got the tracking email the same time as the notice of your post. I am looking forward to trying them out and really hoping they improve on stock. I post up more when they are in.

I have heard on another forum that the Nokya bulbs don't last as long as others.

Currently I have Silverstars installed; they are considerably brighter than the stockers.

For my car I ordered the Osram NightBreakers and Hoën bulbs.

Both are of stellar quality.

Hmmm, i have read mixed reviews on the SilverStars. Dont know how much those run but at $20 for a set of headlights, one H4 & one H7, I wont cry if they dont last as long as PIAA's or whatever. As long as they push the promised lumens I will be happy. SHould get them in a bout a week but it's sent USPS and that could mean any time in the next few weeks.

Thinking about wiring the pods while I have the front end apart. But thats another thread :)

Not to rain on your parade, but the PIAAs are EXPEN$IVE and from what heard don't last that long either. Look in the the Hoens and/or OSRAMS - not the American Sylvanias.

Cheers.

just be sure you get the correct wattage for the bulbs, the Nokya's come in a couple different ratings and if you get it wrong then you could run the risk of melting the wires. I melted a couple headlight sockets with Nokya bulbs in my car a few years back.

the ones i got were 70 watts. They have them labeled as 100 watts but "looks like" and uses is not the same. I figured that a 55-60 watt jump to 70 would be reasonable but it might be overkill.

Nimzo, your not raining on my parade. No way in h3ll I will pay 50$ for a bulb.

PIAA bulbs are very expensive, but I have
had them in my truck for six years with no
issues and they are very bright.
Let us know how your bulbs work out.

Uh-oh, in the images online the lights said "70 watts, looks like 100" But now that the bulbs are here the container is different and the wattage appears to actually be 100/90. The H7 is 70. Am I going to melt the face of my bike?

This does not look so great.

I believe my container said the wrong thing as well. What they mean to say I think is that they LOOK like 100/90 lights, but are actually 70watts

Look on the lights themselves...I think it's written on the base.

thats what I thought at first but the bulb base is stamped 90/100. I will post some pics later.

Ok, an update. I got my new headlights in and the pod lights as well. I knew the battery was low but I wanted to test the life of it. I got about 5 days before the battery was to low to turn the bike over, and on went the battery tender. Also, the blinkers are a bit wonky, out of sequence, but they work and I have the resistors to put in, just haven't gotten to that one yet.

Please no comments on my garage, doing projects takes precedence over cleaning for me.

Here is some pics of the lights:

and green.

I went with the white. They look the brightest and are fully street legal. Might change them later as I have the skittles pod light collection. So finally, white pods and Nokya artic white bulbs

Cool man. I really like my nokya bulb. It seems to be well made and has lasted thru at least 10,000 miles.
I am also very happy with the PIAA bulb though, tonight I was over at my brothers new house its still in closing and has to elec or water. Its up on a hill and everything is dark. I was using my bike on highbeam to light everything up. It shoots further and cleaner than his truck with two silverstars. Something about the combo of the bluish/white and the yellow really punches far and gives everything great definition.

Thanks for posting pics and the write up. When my PIAA goes I will probley get the Nokya blue/white like yours.
