Nice Rides & Roads to ride in Oz!...post your pics

Would of been cool to get tonight's full moon in a shot...but the moon never looks as big in photo's, as it does in reality...something about an optical illusion.

Spot A was the Onkaparinga river mouth with the moon trail across it. Unfortunately the moon was too high and by the time it was low enough it was covered in clouds:(...LOL Great minds think alike:thumbup:.

This is the unedited version of a moon shot from my Kayak in the Coorong with my really carppy camera.

That is still a nice shot...even if the camera was no good, one day i will attach my SLR camera to my Telescope, and get a decent "moon shot".

Hey i have seen that black bike somewhere before!!

Thanks for posting Mikey...what the heck are we both still doing up at this hour...oh that's right, i forgot, we have no lives!!!

Here's a small snippet of today's ride:thumbup:. Spectacular weather, and the roads were relatively empty:cheer:. News of all the crazy bikers doing 1000km/h through the hills must've put some folk off.:rockon::rockon:

Dedicated to all the folk freezing their whatnames off in the North.

'bout 6 mins.

Yeah mate. Was just reading. Great weather for it. Get's you away from police blitzville too...lol.

yes and I will be riding the great ocean road on Monday, not a weekend day, so am guessing that will reduce the amount if traffic by a lot!

Well, I had a pretty serious weekend of riding...lol. 7 laps of Lobie road yesterday and 6 today.
Did Old Belair Road down and Belair road up yesterday and did Greenhill road down and up past Uraidla to Henley Beach for a Riding S.A. coffee night.
And home via Clarendon both nights.

Fantastic weather for it and got some great video and pics.

No real mishaps except loads of oncoming cagers on my side of the road and 2 of these had all 4 wheels in my lane....I hate that coming out of a corner.

Certainly christened my new boots...lol. On even hit the deck (along with my footpeg). Maybe I should have got the less waterproof ones with the toesliders...LMAO.

Any how, here's some pics.

Cheers
Mike

Nice photo's Mike.... There's a bike of the month photo somewhere in amongst those.

I was going to say the other day, why no toe sliders, i know the way you ride, and i know how i ride, and i know my sliders are wearing thin after about 5000km's on them.....not to mention the bingle...

Suppose i should post a few Great Ocean Pics in here...seeing as i am always on everyone to post photo's in here of the roads they like!

:spank:

No toe sliders 'cause I have the ball of my foot on the pegs so they only touch when my peg hits hard...lol. Also this makes them far more water proof.

The inside of the boot where a slider would be is VERY heavily reinforced, so they should be good. Probably as good as my 12 year old steel caps...lol.

Besides. If I hit some cager who's doing something stupid I'm going through his drivers window as punishment for wrecking my bike...lol.

Same spot ...lol... but the water was flatter this night:thumbup:.....of course I broke my stinking tripod again:spank:, so I only took a couple pics:(....had all sorts of plans for the night...lol.

Cheers
Mike

Lol, we will have to take my tripod now, and do another "Night Rider" run!
