Hi FZ6 folks

After researching bikes, I settled on a 2008 FZ6 (which I picked up just 2 days ago). The passionate and active community (like this forum) was one of the factors that influenced my decision. OK- and the bike is close to just freakin amazing and engineering perfection!

So hello everybody. Thanks for being here and allowing low-lifes like me to join your forum. FWIW I used to ride when I was in my 20s, now after a quarter century, I'm back at it again. I'm mainly using it for short hop commuting, day tripping, and *maybe* a little touring.

Anyway, thanks for being here. I've already learned a lot from this forum.

a big :welcome: Jim, you'll find a lot of good info on this site

oh and why don't you post a pic of your new ride, so we can all enjoy

Weclome aboard! I also just joined this forum this week after buying my second bike, a 2008 FZ6 last week, and I love it. That goes for both the bike and the forum.

Have been on here perusing every day and have already learned some interesting stuff about the new ride.

:welcome:to the forum! We have a great group of members. Awesome bike!

Thanks for the nice welcome. Safety - YES! I'm trying my best to put safety first and fun a close second. ATGATT!

and the low-life comment about me... just some self-deprecating humor. Likely works better in person.

Thanks again for the most excellent welcome. It's good to be here!
