Hi, I'm not only new to this forum malarky but also to biking. I past my test a couple of months ago and have just got my first bike ... a 2003 FZ6.

Can any tell me how easy it would be to have the bike lowered a bit?

As for lowering your bike, what exact bike do you have? They didn't make the actual fz6 until 2004, but there were other fz's before then like the fz600.

One option which is fairly simple would be to lower the forks up front by loosening the fork clamps, and checking to see what or if there is a preload adjust for your rear shock. If there is then you might be able to turn it down a bit which will give it a softer ride and lower height.
