I've been lurking a few days thought I'd say Hi. Great site I've found lots of information already. I got an 07 last week from my brother in law.He just can't get off cruisers. I'm 49 yrs. old started riding again 3 yrs. ago after a long lay off.I first bought a ninja 250 and rode it a few months, then I bought a 03 vfr. I gave the ninja to my 15 yr old son. Started him in a big parking lot then we did the msf course to get his licence.We rode some took a trip from nashville to Natchez Ms down the trace, stopped by Vicksburg on the way home. He took to it till he got a truck and its been girls ever since. Who can blame him. I came about the fz6 because I trashed my vfr and my brother in law wanted my fishing boat.Here is a pic after my first ride saturday. I really think I'm going to like this bike its close to 100 lbs lighter, the ergos are more upright it has plenty of power for the road. I know the seat has to go I made it 58 miles then I had to stand. My vfr had a corbin and it was a all day seat. Still researching what to do to the suspension will upgrade it to, too soft just like most stock bikes. Looking for a used ventura rack (series 14) so I can use my packs. I like to do track days when I can. I bought a track bike (01
