hey guys i am new to this site. but i am wondering if any one out there has ever drilled out there cat on there fz6, i am thinking on doing it, but will it make my bike run weird? :rockon:

hi ive done mine and it runs fine,the ecu will cope with it,i drilled mine out 4000 mile ago and its fine

oh ok cool. did u notice any power gain? did it sound better, and r u runing stock muffler?
i am also looking @ getting a set of scorpions for my bike, and if i just do the pipes i dont have to remap my computer, but if i drill my cat out and run the scorpions will i end up having to remap it? thax alot:rockon:

not really more total power but the midrange bog is eliminated. Also the vibrations from around 5-7k are eliminated as well.
