There's a new model of Leo Vince pipe coming out in a couple of weeks. The LV One. It replaced the SBK model. Stainless with a titanium look, and carbon. The end caps are black now. Pipecity has the stainless for $499. I'll be placing an order very soon. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted. Has anyone else heard anything about these yet? They are not on leovinceusa.com yet but they can be found on leovince.com.

<snip>LeoVince renews the entry level to the SBK range, with the new line of LV One fully approved EVO II silencers.
Style, materials and operating life have been studied and developed by the LeoVince technicians, maintaining the concept of performance in compliance with the relevant laws as for the previous series, and extracting the technical solutions from the top of the range Factory design.
Fully tested internals are coupled with a completely new outer, and with an attractive quality/price relationship.
The silencer is constructed completely in TIG welded AIS! 304 stainless steel and is oval shaped, with flat upper and lower zones.
Externally it is finished with a special sand-blasting treatment which gives it a “Titanium Look”, with a fighting spirit and elegance. An alternative version is available with carbon fibre casing.
The new tailpipe is in a high performance Technopolymer: light-weight and with high resistance against mechanical and thermal stress.
Aesthetically it presents a very sporting opaque black surface.
The tailpipe is supplied in versions for vertical terminal (engine side) or horizontal terminal (under seat) assembly.
Also the front silencer inlet is new: it no longer has the previous conformation with a straight cut, it now has a tapered development, which is more aerodynamic and sporting.
The silencer fastening strap is completely in carbon, as on the LeoVince SBK top of the range products.
Pipe and fittings are in stainless steel AISI 304 with TIG welding where necessary.
The geometrical development of the pipework and silencer is specific for each engine model, aimed to enhance the torque and maximum power, meeting the required parameters set by EU standards (97/24/EC of 17 June 1997).
<end snip>

So the order has been placed, now i'm just waiting. The Leovince.com site has been getting updated with more info almost daily. There is now a schematic for the new ones. When comparing it to the old one, there are some pretty significant design changes. The new cans are the same length as the shorter one was on the old system. The "Y" pipe now has a much sharper bend as well. Looks like it will completely remove the rear bracket that that was above the rear tire as well. When you look at the 2 pictures side by side, the new cans also don't stick out as far as the old ones. That fact and the new clamp are probably the reason they had to get rid of the stock bracket assembly. There is now some heat shielding included to stick on as well. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures of the install whenever the exhaust gets here.

Today I got news from Leovince: they are available from now on. :)
It seems that the fit will be better because there is an original part that gets eliminated. With the old style this wasn't the case and that part came against the exhaust. But I'm waiting to hear the sound on youtube. :)

I also have the new Leo's on order (Carbon). I ordered and paid for the older style only to find out the next day that they we no longer offered. Called Leo Vince USA and they sales rep took care of me! Hopefully, I will have them in about 4 weeks!
I cannot wait!

How much were they from Leo? The USA website is in a much needed overhaul and has only old/inaccurate info.

Now I'm really thinking of buying it. But I have one question: does it eliminate the catalic converter?

New system DOES eliminate the cat just like old did.
Looking at PDF, new one should definitely be easier to fit, but honestly the original wasn't that tough either.

According to the diagram it DOES eliminate the cat. Where are you seeing that it doesn't? All photos/Pics show that it still removes the cat. The cat was in the vertical down pipe, which this system still replaces. The systems that don't remove the cat are fitted at the pipe AFTER that down pipe.

My apologies! You're absolutely right. The de-cat pipe is there.

I was offered the price I paid for the discontinued carbon pipes, about $670.00 from IndySuperSport.
It is amazing the price difference between the aluminum and carbon pipes. The Leo sales rep hinted that the new carbon pipes are going to run around $800.00.
Pipecity is showing the new model number 8284 for $650.00.
It was also confirmed that the set included the cat eliminator.
