The thing I don't like:

"Battery LifeUp to 1 hour and 23 minutes"

When I got my laptop for school almost 4 years ago now, it had a nearly 5 hour battery life. Now it lasts about 30 minutes because it needs a new battery, but I've since built a desktop.

yup I know what thats all about, but I might use it on battery power 2 days a year. So it didn't bother me all that much...

have always ran windows for many years and even dabbled in linux but i took the plunge and bought a macbook pro 15" about a month ago and I have to say its pretty awesome. I really needed a new laptop and just figured why not give mac a shot. Best buy had 18 months no interest so i couldnt turn it down. Damn expensive i agree........but man. it just works. no issues, no nothing. 7 hour battery life kicks serious ass too. Congrats on your new asus! i built a few systems quite a few years back using asus motherboards. good stuff.
