Welcome mate,

Buy a time machine so you can go forward in time to get a great bike.
Good luck with it, read the forum rules, don't post an oil question without doing a search first LOL. Enjoy and get some pictures up ASAP.

Normal advice to a new rider would be to start with something a little gentler like a ninja 250, but as you are so close to the time I would say that your mind is pretty much made up already. So in that case, just enjoy it, wear lots of protection and as you are new watch out for the power. It might not be a a loud bike but it's deceptively fast so take it easy and grow into it.
