Looking to add an FZ6 to my stable.
Others I've missed out on recently sold for $3500, $4K, or more.
And they were not as clean as this one:
Local private sale has a 2005 listed for $4k.
Cobalt blue, 2,600 miles, mint condition, factory stock, tame adult owner.
Does this one sound like its priced right?
Thanks all.

I'd keep looking. Your patience will be rewarded. It took me two years to find my FZ. She is a little rough from a drop, but I can fix that with time and money. Actually, more money than I anticipated, but she's worth it!

That's a bit much. I paid about $3400 for my used 2006, with 5200 miles on the clock, and it had a Two Brothers CF exhaust, and Puig double bubble screen. Receipts were all accounted for, and it was well maintained. That was still a bit pricey, but I was fine with it. Downside was the front fairing was plastered with stickers, but they all came off with ease. I'd see if that seller would come way down, or keep looking.

agreed sounds a bit on the high side.

Paid $3000 for a 2007 with 150 miles on it last year. Has scratches and a crack in the fairing from previous owner but no other issues and now has 5,100+ miles on it.

Have a look at Wikipedia, there you have the specifications for the different models.
From 2007 and newer, they're all the same regarding performance.
But I don't know if the difference between the 2006 and 2007 is noticeable for example.
I've driven the 2006, and then the 2007 S2, and it was the "S2" that made most of the difference I think ;)

Yeah thats a little too much. even with the low miles. I would say $3200- $3300 would be a decent price. I paid $3500 for my 20007 with 5K miles.

wow that s cheap for such a futurisitic bike! 20007 :D

to the op. if you fancy the bike try to negotiate the price since its an 05. tell the owner that for that price you could buy a mint 07/08 with the factory improvements and see where it takes you from there.

I actually picked up a set of Pilot Power 2ct tires like new for 35 dollars for both im totally pumped about that score. anyways good luck
