need help!

Hi everyone.

Im riding a fz6 2005 model. Currently im having problem with my bike. it feels "jerky" when moving off .. let me put it this way..

when moving off , gear 1 release clutch throttle ... close throttle clutch gear 2 release clutch throttle.. here is where i feel the problem.

it feels very jerky as tho something is stuck or not smooth. any ideas or suggestions why?

when bike is idling it also sounds rather jerky.

it used to be well but it was rather raining lately. cud it be water?

Does it feel like a misfire in the engine or just jerky like the bike is lurching forward and backwards?

This bike is notorious for a jerky on/off throttle. Letting out the clutch slower, perhaps even dragging the rear brake until the bike starts accelerating smoothly should help. When you shift from 1-2 you don't want to completely close the throttle between shifts. For a smooth shift try to let off the throttle just enough so the rpms don't spike when you pull in the clutch and then a smooth shift into the next gear and slow roll on the throttle.

I properly lubricated throttle grip, throttle cables and clutch cable also helps tremendously.

Lastly, the 2004 - 2005 model FZ6 had a TPS issue that was recalled. Could that be a problem?
