Naked with fairing 2-3 times a year???

Is it possible to go naked for the majority of the time and add fairing and (madstad) shield for 1-3 touring rides a year? Is this a ridiculous amount of adjustment or has someone done this back and forth with success?

I don't think you will find anyone who has done it because you will find that once you go naked the wind buffeting is actually less when naked.

not only the wind buffeting, but also the work that goes into switching back and forth. While the kit I used (VS-2) is considered plug and play...I really wouldn't want to do that again, let alone 3-4 times a year! And some others require a little more work to fit.

I asked this once before, if there are any windscreens that go on naked bikes, and there are. They either attach to the headlight area, or clamp onto the handlebars...I'll look for the thread and post it later if that helps.
