Here are some pics of an FZ6 that I bought a couple of months ago, the bike had been layed down but only had 11k miles on it, it was blue with fairings, so far I have done R6 forks and brakes, new front fender, new side pods, hella lights, home made light brackets, axle tag mount and some flat paint and tires. I still have alot of work and add ons but I am pretty happy with the look so far. I mounted the lights lower so that I could build some type of custom cover or mask to go around the lights.

NICE! Love the mean look!

This screen should work really well for your build:

I haven't decided which gauge I want yet, I have been looking at the Koso's and Acewells, I want something small and simple. Right now I just have the little garmin strapped to the handlebars for the speed. I do like that style screen, that bike in the pic looks great.

i love the flat black!!! to me everything looks better blacked out. i was thinking of doing it to mine i just dont know if i want to go into that much work with the frame though. if your pretty good with fabricating stuff you should make your own wind screen, something angular. that would really be different vs all those fly screens that look the same, not that they are a bad option just there on just about every streetfighter out there.

Oooer. My tank is in the shop at the moment getting resprayed matte black... was wondering how it would look... I need wonder no more! Thanks :D Now I'm looking forward to it coming back even more than I was before :D

Did you spray the back plastics yourself? If so what did you use and any prep work required other than cleaning?

Looks great - nice work :)

nice conversion, dont like the colour tho, it looks like it been out in the rain and sun for 50 years.:Flash:
