After buying a FZ1 a few weeks back I needed to sell my FZ6. Today a new forum member mmorales85 bought my bike. Good guy who is smart enough to glean info from this forum. Here is one proud and happy owner of a mighty FZ6!

They are quite different.
Keep in mind my FZ1 has had all the good mods to make it run smooooth! What I like about the FZ1:
Power, it's another game.
Engine braking is real.
Better brakes.
The FZ1 has better parts but it does cost more.
Low end torque.
Much smoother tranny than the 6 or my FJR.
Runs on Regular gas
Dislikes
30 mpg, hey all that power is going to cost you
Mirrors, much better on the 6
Wind protection is less
More work to ride in the twistys, it IS a heaver bike.
Looks like changing plugs will be more work.
Keep in mind my FZ1 has had all the good mods to make it run smooooth! What I like about the FZ1:

Hey guys! Mmorales85 reporting in! lol. Yes I did buy the fz6 from the Red Wasp. And let me tell you, it is totally awesome. I rode 150 miles back home to San Francisco. Super smooth ride and comfortable sitting position! The only gripe was the stock seat!! My booty was hurting after a while lol! But oh well it was worth the ride back home! It was basically everything I expected it after my research.:rockon:
And as for the Red Wasp. He's a very patient dude and made the sale really smooth for both of us. He really knows his stuff!!! Very enthusiastic about riding and really cares for his bikes!!! I wish him luck with his adventures on his FN1 which looks great btw.
As soon as I get some pics up, Ill post definitely post them up. I totally forgot to bring the camera for the ride home
I already got a puig windshield on the way. So Ill make a lil blog of the mods I do. Im expecting to do is replace the saddle for sure, exhaust, levers, and whatever my imagination wants. So keep tuned!!!

I've thought about getting an FZ1 or an R1, I love the 6 and all it can do. I just have that desire for something more.
