My new Triumph Tiger 800

Well I finally got a chance to ride the Tiger today and I'm really happy with this bike:thumbup: Has plenty of get up and go, just twist the grip. No top end rush but it makes up for it with the low end pull, pushes you back in the seat sort of feeling and it just sounds great Soaks up all the crap roads around here, only the big bumps get through a bit. Very planted in the switch backs although a better rider than I could find the limitations but for me it works just great:thumbup: If your thinking about one of Triumph's triple's I say go for it, can't speak of the longevity or reliability just yet but I don't think either will be a problem

That motor will surprise you. It will pull better than the I4 at low rpm and surprise you at how fast you're at speed. It's deceiving at first...

From another old guy...:BLAA: I used to ride my Yamaha RD400 on that road, back in the day (1978). Ride safe.

My trick for clear exhaust sound: mount the camera close to the pipe and point it backwards! No wind noise this way.

Congrats on the bike Jerry! I saw one parked in front of my apartment the other day and probably spent a solid 10 minutes staring at it, much to my girlfriend's chagrin.

Almost forgot to mention the shifting, very very smooth going up or down,
another nice touch is the gear number indicator, no more shifting into 6th when your already there

Congratulations, that indeed is a nice looking bike. I was not able to test ride it back in Daytona (bike week) but I sat on it and it seemed like a really nice bike.
