My annual ride to LA via Angles Crest Hwy

Every year, I make my annual ride to LA to visit a very special person. no matter how cold it can be during this time. This time, I decided to take a different route, via the famous Angeles Crest Highway.

Knowing how many riders have gotten killed on this road, I gave this a road A LOT of respect, combined with the occasional ice and gravel, I took it easy. Turns out, the road was closed about a 1/3 of the way into the mountain, so I had to turnaround and take the normal freeway route around the mountain range.

Everytime, I always notice this sign. WTF No Motorcycles? LOL...

Obviously, I just ignore it like I do every year.

Of course, I brought the rose, not the tree.

The weather in LA was incredible. By far the best I coud ever recall during this time of year in a long time. Warm, like maybe in the high 60's or even low 70's and NO Wind!

Remembering lost people at this time of year is so important.

LOL...I don't want to take your money, afterall, I'm Vegas. Next year you'll be in Boston?

Actually, had my evening tied up around the football game. Had a tough time finding the NFL network, as my hotel (Marriott Burbank Airport) didn't carry the channel and the people working at the hotel were complete Morons when it came to providing good information about where to go to watch the game. Ended up going into downtown Burbank around the Mall area. With the Christmas Mall traffic and being the last weekend for people to shop, OMG THE TRAFFIC! Thank God for Lane Splitting. Never splitted so much in my entire riding career. I was splitting so much, I wasn't sure if I was doing it legally.
