Sorry for the delay. Here are some pics and video of the MotoGP. It was a great time - highly recommend to anyone who can get to one:

I was going to take this for a test ride, but it was obviously out of service - the shifter and clutch were broken clean off!




Although I had seats outside of turn 4, I hiked up to the corkscrew. I wasn't up there for any bike races, but took a photo of a pace car navigating it. The picture doesn't do it justice just how steep this is. I've heard it described as jumping off of a building.


Another angle at the corkscrew. I didn't see anyone who didn't get airborne.

I did film in HD, but youtube defaults to 360p for some reason. You can bump it up to 720p and watch full-screen for better resolution....

He is indeed. This picture was taken a couple of years ago at Laguna Seca, and Ben turned out to be a really nice guy. I was taking a picture of a bike, and looked up to see him and his brother Eric doing a promo picture. As they walked away, I yelled Ben can I get a photo? He obviously had somewhere else to be (like prepping for his race!!!), but turned right around, shook my hand and took a picture with me like he had all the time in the world. Super nice guy.

I went to the race for the first time and it was a great event to check out both on saturday during qualifying and the race on Sunday. We brought our bikes up from LA in an enclosed trailer and I put over 600 miles on my new FZ6 in two days as we rode up the coast on Thursday and rode the mountains above Santa Cruz on Friday. It was a blast and my bike is now officially broken in with over 1200 miles on it.
