I dont see a FZ6 S2 whats the difference and were you seeing it at? I just see the FZ6.

Sorry Never Mind I typed it into google and found it. To answer your question I don't know why they say one is faster than the other.

FZ6 = 57.0 kW (78 PS) @ 11,500 rpm

You are right, and I did attach a PDF file showing exactly what you mean.

I don't know it for sure but probably the 'S2' series are the latest version of the FZ6 and although it might be the same machine, the FZ6 Fazer might be simply reduced to a lower bhp...

i know the s2 has been retuned to produce more mid-range power than the older fz6

And the differences are not only in power but also in:

Fairing, brake calipers, frame, ECU.

frame is the same, swingarm isn't.

Power output on US models is the same on all FZ6's regardless of year.

All are the 98hp version.
