mods and mileage

i am a step away from buying an fz6. there is one with a two bros. exhaust and i believe a pciii. sounds very cool. does anyone have this or a similar setup? what is your mileage. i do 70 miles a day rain or shine @ 80 mph and got 51.962 mpg on the last tank. (06 gs500f with 22.5k miles) will i get anything close to this mileage with stock or mods? i will be commuting around 18k per year from now on so mpg is pretty important.

My last trip on mostly highway was 56mpg. That is totally stock and at sea level on flat roads. I avg 45mpg around town depending on how much I play. 42mpg is my worst so far.

I'm with AKAPPAROS on this one. I've done as good as 55 MPG and as low as 43. I have Scorp exhaust and K&N air filter mods. My MPG came down some only because I hammer it harder now because she runs so quick. Last road trip we did was 190 miles and I got 50 MPG and we were riding hard. I was the only bike that didn't take on gas. Can't say more then that.

45 mpg mixed city/highway pretty consistently on 07 3.5k miles, no mods. I don't ride it very hard.
