Scary but informative stuff. One thing stuck out to me, frontal impact with a car is pretty scary......in light of my own recent crash test dummy impersonations, it makes me very glad I made the split second decision to get as sideways as possible to the vehicle I was about to hit, before actually hitting it. Suppose I am lucky I had the chance to make a choice!

Yeah, kudos to you for being able to think fast enough to possibly lower your risk to injury instead of possibly being hurt worse or even killed. Not everyone gets that chance, or is skilled enough to be able to perform in such a manner. I know that when I had my accident many years back, there was zero time for me to do anything other than slam into the truck. Bleh...

yeah have to say I like both the airbsg on the Honda, as well as the air bag on the leathers.....wonder how long before we see these sort of features ok bikes and gear as the norm, rather than an exception.

Might help save our kids spines, and, or lives in the future.

Main thing to me was that 75% of car bike crashes occure at intersections. Remember that and drive like they can't see you and don't care if you live or not and think you will decrease your chances of crashing a lot. Ride behind or beside a car while going through intersections.
