I have -04 FZ6-N and I want to see whats going on behind me :)
Because of my wide shoulders, i see only my arms from the mirrors.

I was wondering that has anyone replaced mirror "arms" with longer ones?
I searched from ebay and there was only ugly risers.
I also tried to search from forum without answer.

Can i just remove that middle part and replace it with longer? Is that part even removable? Is that part just stick with thread ends?

And I know that there is that another way to see behind by moving your position ;)

Can't answer your question, but if you come up short then perhaps you can try some bar end mirrors that extend outward a bit? Might work....

I just put on a set of cheap R6 mirrors I got off eBay. They are a little better for visibility . . . but the convex glass is crappy; the rubber boots from the old mirrors don't fit right; they vibrate; and the convex glass is wavy. I may just put back on the old mirrors.

I can't believe that such a solid bike has this one really sh!tty ergo.

As you have the FZ6-N & the mirrors mount on the bars instead of the fairing like the Fazer, you can buy any generic mirror extenders or you have a massive selection of generic mirrors that you can fit. Just check that the thread direction matches and that the bolt size is the same. One the the major Japanese manufacturers has one mirror screw in to the reverse of the others & I can't remember if it's Yamaha or not. Any bike shop will know though.

Two examples of what you could get below.

These slightly ugly ones:-

Or these would look better, but not improve the visibility as much:-
