Loving the FZ6

[Yamaha Ya Ya]

What a difference this bike makes from my Ninja 500! I feel way more comfortable on this bike in the twisties. The FZ just seems to want to stick and I feel way more confident. I kept up with my husband on his ZRX pretty well today riding down and up highway 38 from Big Bear to Mentone.

I also am getting used to the increase in power, which is dramatic. I reved the bike to 12,000 today in third. What a rush compared to the Ninja! I also hit an indicated 108 on a long straight. That's the fastest I've gone on a bike and the FZ was really stable.

I am VERY pleased with this purchase. Just need a slightly higher windscreen as bugs are flying under my helmet!

Joe, my husband saw that one. It looks like the Puig "touring" is even a bit taller than than. Have you seen a FZ6 with the Puig touring to compare.

Either way, that's my first mod to the bike!
