Looking at used FZ6 bikes

Sorry to interrupt the thread but I'm new and not to sure how I use the site. I found it while looking for answers for a bike I'm looking at. I'm looking into a 2006 Yamaha FZ6. Mileage is 55,0000. The bike looks good although dropped once and has two small dents in the tank. Is this considered high mileage?
And should I be worried about the dents in the tank the current owner say he did from squeezing his knees too tight on the tank while riding? Is that web possible??
