lockable oil cap?

For BMW's there are lockable oil caps available. Do anyone know if these can be used on the FZ6 or other alternatives?

Another fairly easy alternative, drill a small hole in the plastic filler cap, another thru the head of an adjacent (correct side) allen head side case bolt and safety wire them together. I did that to mine (including the drain plug) but eventually removed the safety wire to the filler.

You'll know if anyone's been in there.

I had that on the back of my mind for a while. hen when I change my clutch I decide to do it. Very easy to do. Drill 1/16" hole and get some 0.025" lock wire. :rockon:

I just know that they will break like glass. I dropped mine one day, (from about three feet up onto concrete), and the little sucker broke like china!

This is what it came out like. The other end of the wire is fastened under the seat.

Yes, it's for parking in bad neighborhoods where stupid people may have ideas like cutting tires on cars and things like that..
