Anyone on the forum in the US watching this on HBO? I'm interested in your opinions. It's a very popular show in the UK, but I'm not sure the sensitive US palate can take it.

I've been watching it and like it. I love the dry, middle-aged English couple bit. And the receptionist bit, too. "Computer says 'no'"...

I won't go heaping superlatives on it, nor can I really compare it to anything that I've seen, but I've always been a fan of sketch comedy like that.

I too have been watching,,i've been recording it, it is very funny. I like the old couple too...I about died when they did the one about the body builder guys!!!! But I must say that the one where the dog is supposed to talk to the old lady creeps me out.

Haven't watched that, but I do like the BBC program "Primeval". I like science fiction anyway, & stumbled on it one day & have it set as a regular recording now. Pretty fair special effects.

In the UK Harry & Paul is on before it and is 1,000,000 times better. What's the US Life on Mars like? Gene Hunt is now a british institution and people are very sensitive about an American version, even if the great harvey keitel (nuts in Bad Leiutenant!) is doing it
