Little added extra to my projectors.

I saw a buddies bike with stock reflectors that had something similar to this so I decided to try it with my projectors. I think it came out awesome. Looks very evil-ish. Looks amazing and decently bright at night, though I couldn't get a good night pic with my blackberry. For those that can't figure out what I did, I put a single LED light like the ones around my fairings, and I inserted it into the back end of the reflector around the base of the bulb. Thus shining the light outwards toward the Lens on the projector and creating an awesome yet subtle glow at night. The red is overpowerd and made invisible when the headlights are turned on so no worries there.

Today I also relocated my Fiam "B note" horn from the factory location to the inside of my left lower fairing so now it doesn't stick out from under my front fairing all odd like.
What ya think?

So is the red LED on when your headlights come on then? If so, does it effect your light output by adding a red tinge to the light?

What is the red LED wired to for power?

Right! There is just one single red LED in the little alignment groove for the bulb. I just made the alignment groove a hair larger for the wire to fit through.

The lights are wired to the rest of my red LEDs (about 275 total) which are in turn wired to a switch I have placed just under the right seat fairing: just out of sight.

They stay on constantly while the switch is on so, Yes, they are on with the headlights. You can not see the red however since the HIDs are so bright.

Sorry for the not so great pics. I just took them real quick to make this post. Used my blackberry, plus its raining. And yes, I forgot to put my cover on. Mainly because i didn't know it was going to rain today. :spank:

Nice location for the switch! That was my biggest dilema when I installed my LED underglow lighting; where to install a switch. At least in the location you choose you don't need a waterproof switch, although a waterproof one would be best. I found a waterproof rocker switch with a light indicator on it, but it was pretty big. So I eneded up going with the remote control unit from Oznium. It just hangs on my key chain like a regular car fob.
