I found some small and bright leds

There is a lot on there but a little pricey, also Samsung has some DLP tvs that use an LED light engine that I bet would work perfect.

harley has a led head lamp, and I tried to find out how to post a video of the lamp, but I can't. So you'll just have to click the video link on the web page. I wish there was a way to get some form of the lamp for our bikes.

I actually did a little research into this when this thread came out. I think I could probably design a light from scratch. But it would be pretty expensive (a really bright led isn't cheap), and time consuming considering I would have to do a lot of testing so see what kind of effects heat would play on the design inside the bulb housing. If I remember correctly, some form of heatsinking was what I was having the most trouble with while toying with this idea in the conseptual stage.

That's the biggest obstacle to LED primary lighting. Once your're at the level of LED's needed to put down usable light, you'll need MASSIVE heatsinking to keep them from dying a quick death. Probably some powered cooling as well, especially for the summer months. Plus temperature inside the housing is a factor as well, which I believe was already mentioned. I think LED's would make for great auxiliary lighting, but that's about it at this point in time.

OK, i know they are all over, but i have looked and cant find a good set of pod lights, and also a good write up for how to install them, can anyone help?

Harley Davidson = HD = Hundred Dollar
So that's worth about 4 HDs. Nothing unusual there for something with the "HD" logo on it.

Kuryakin just came out the a LED headlight for less than half the H-D unit
its still almost 300 though
