So, if I'm reading your pics correctly, you just trimmed off the lower 2/3's or so of that circular bit that used to go around the stock cans?
I'm interested in what you did here because I just installed scorpions on my bike and found that I could no longer fit the givi. If that's what you've done, and it feels sturdy -- how does it feel, how much weight have you put in your case? If it feels worthy, I'll take a shot at trimming mine, too.
