Know it's not an Fz6, but here is my work in progress

Well, I know that it's not an Fz6, but it is a Yamaha. Here are a couple of pics of what I did this last weekend to my Vmax. I installed a Kerker exhaust w/Scorpion carbon fibre can, knee guards, Artfibras sport tail, all stainless steel case bolts, and repainted engine and body panels. Only have a 6" stretch swingarm, Cycle One Off gauge cluster, and a EFI system left to install this winter. Once those are done the final drive pumpkin and rad shrouds will go satin black as well. For those who will be at the Toronto Supershow Jan 2-4th Steph and I will be there at the Vmax Owner's Association booth in Hall 1, with my bike entered in the Level 2 show:thumbup:

I right-clicked the x's and chose to open them in a new window and they displayed from the pix section. Worked for me that way. I dunno, I'm using Safari though.

Wow, big difference. It looked nice before, but looks great now. Question though: did you paint it yourself, or did you have someone do it. If you had someone else do it, what was the cost? The only reason why I am asking is that I'm seriously thinking about getting my bike painted flat black, but don't trust my spraying abilities. Therefore, someone else will need to do it. Many thanks! :thumbup:

Another Vmaxxer, who kindly donates his shop from my winter storage and mods, did the paint job for me. All is cost me was the primer, body putty, and paint.
