Key code question...

I just bought a '05. FZ6-S with 6k miles on the clock! Oh yeah! O-oo-o yeah!
You can imagine how I feel! But I have a problem... I got only two keys. The original red one and one black. The guy says he lost one somewhere. So, you know what's bothering me. Did someone steal it from him or is he lying?
I don't care it he really lost it but... I'd hate to think that someone has a key to my bike. So, here's the question:
Can I reprogram the keys and the code reader to use another code or is there some other option to my problem?

The only way to get different keys is to put a new key cylinder on and have fresh keys made to match that cylinder. These keys are not programmable so cant "change the code", you need to replace the cylinder to have new keys......unless yamaha sells new tumblers to put in it but i dont think they do because i dont see any way to open the cylinder to get to them.
