thinking thats the bikes temp not outside temp. you can switch between them on the 07+ believe it goes from dashes to numerical around 100..... never paid that close attention

You can switch between engine temp and outside temp??? I never read that in the manual. How do you do that?

Press Reset just once, coolant temp changes to A and then air intake temperature shows. On 06 you had to press Press Reset prolonged in ODO/RPM mode. In Trip mode it would reset the tripmeter.
