I cleaned the contacts and it seems to have worked from a earlier post. Bike does not turn off not (at least from the 30 min commute daily) but after each ride I notice the temperature spikes when I turn the bike off. Was wondering if it’s normal because during each ride it peaks at around 190-210 and when I turn it off it goes past 244. May be a dumb question but rather be safe than stuck on the highway again lol.

I don't think it's normal BUT, the engine is turned off, it's not producing any more heat.

Most likely just heat soak, nothing to worry about.

Are you riding in slow, heavy traffic?

Mine usually stays around 172F and climbs higher in stop and go..
Rarely do I see 200F

Usually it’s moderate traffic nothing too crazy. Usually it’s staying around 192 during the ride but I don’t know if it’s just the Texas weather making it reach up to 200. Think I should test something?
