I keep mine in my pocket, or tank bag it is being charged. I originally tried having it exposed, but it would often overheat from the sunlight. Now it stays hidden and is accessed through my Sena headset. One less thing to draw my eyes away from the road.

Givi Mount for the phone. However, prior to having the radar/laser detector, I used the bags connection accessory on the tank bag for my phone. Cheers.

The purist in me (sorry) has to make clear it's not an iphone 
Mostly to be able use GPS. I have power right next to it, and a shorty (6-inch) USB cable to power it. Haven't taken any long trips with it like this. Never occurred to me that it might get hot from the sun, as someone pointed out. Anyway, this is me as it is currently.

I use the same Ram Mount. Works great!
